Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Presales Technical Architect with a strong technical background and hands-on experience in client-facing presales activities. The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding business requirements, designing scalable technical solutions, preparing proposals, participating in discovery sessions, and supporting the sales team throughout the deal lifecycle.
This role requires a blend of solution architecture, technical consulting, stakeholder management, and presales expertise to help drive revenue growth and win strategic opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospects and clients to understand business challenges, technical requirements, and project objectives.
- Lead technical discovery calls, requirement-gathering sessions, and solution workshops.
- Design scalable and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with client needs.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Delivery, and Engineering teams to create winning proposals.
- Prepare technical proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), solution documents, effort estimations, and project approaches.
- Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
- Act as a trusted technical advisor during the sales cycle.
- Participate in RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs by providing technical responses and solution recommendations.
- Define application architecture, technology stack, integrations, security considerations, and deployment strategies.
- Support account growth initiatives through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, cloud platforms, AI trends, and digital transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- 8–10 years of overall IT experience with a strong software engineering or solution architecture background.
- Hands-on experience in designing enterprise applications, cloud-native solutions, and scalable architectures.
- Strong understanding of modern technology stacks including:
- .NET / Java / Node.js / Python
- React, Angular, Vue.js
- Microservices Architecture
- REST APIs & Integrations
- Database Design (SQL & NoSQL)
- Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- DevOps & CI/CD concepts
Presales Expertise
- Proven experience in presales, solution consulting, or technical consulting roles.
- Experience handling international clients (US, Europe, APAC preferred).
- Strong exposure to proposal creation, effort estimation, solution architecture, and client presentations.
- Experience working on fixed-cost, dedicated team, and managed services engagements.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, Data Engineering, or Digital Transformation initiatives will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience working as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Engineering Lead before moving into Presales.
